Ro Bruhn - Artist
I've been really discouraged - journaling again, I've gotten a lot of books out of the library, and so many are disappointing. More pointy hats on someone else's ancestor. Sigh. Can someone please explain to me how this got started? I know Teesha Moore did it, and her style has, sadly, has become ubiquitous. She is talented, of course, but I still don't find that art. Craft, yes, sure. But art? No.
Enter Ro Bruhn. The creativity and talent of this woman just jumps off of her work! She makes fiber journals, she makes paper, she makes hand-carved stamps, she makes jewelry. Her blog is a visual smorgasbord!

Her Pinterest page will distract you for hours!

Sadly for me, she lives in Australia, so I doubt I'll be able to attend one of her workshops any time soon. i
I will continue to be inspired from afar!

More Art Journaling
I just started art journaling again. My husband is almost finished our art cottage, and I love sitting out there and working on at. It is peaceful and serene. I've put a few of my finished portraits in my journals. Here are the ones I've included.
